Our Accreditations

NAPIT is a government-approved Competent Person Scheme for electrical work. As a NAPIT-registered contractor, Ecoleaf Energy can self-certify all notifiable electrical installations under Part P of the Building Regulations. Every job we complete is automatically notified to your local building control authority, and you receive a full electrical installation certificate — no need to arrange a separate building inspector.

Part P of the Building Regulations covers electrical safety in dwellings. Certain types of electrical work — including new circuits, consumer unit changes, and work in bathrooms and kitchens — must be carried out by a registered competent person or inspected by building control. Our Part P registration through NAPIT means we can sign off our own work, saving you time and the cost of a separate inspection.

We carry comprehensive public liability insurance covering every job we undertake, both domestic and commercial. This protects you against accidental damage to your property during our work. We are happy to provide proof of insurance on request before any job begins.

BS 7671 is the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations — the UK national standard for all electrical installations. Every installation we carry out is designed, installed, and tested in full compliance with BS 7671. This ensures your electrical system meets the highest safety standards and is accepted by insurers, mortgage lenders, and building control.

Our electricians hold City & Guilds qualifications — the industry-recognised standard for electrical competence in the UK. City & Guilds certification demonstrates that our team has completed rigorous training and assessment in electrical installation, inspection, and testing.

In addition to our general electrical qualifications, we hold a specific City & Guilds qualification in EV charger installation. This ensures we are fully trained in the safe installation, commissioning, and testing of electric vehicle charging equipment to the latest standards.
